Inglourious Basterds is 2009 war movie about two groups of people who after learning of the top command of Nazi Germany going of all things to the movies, plot to blow up the cinema. The movie that they are going to see is about a sniper who kills 300 people and its titles translation in English is "A Nation's Pride"  how can the top brass miss this. The job to take out the Nazis is left to the The Basterds lead by Aldo Raine (Brad Pitt)  is a group of Jews who get revenge by staging ambushes and letting one German soldier to survive each incident so as to spread the news of the terror of Their attacks. However, they then carve a swastika into the forehead of that German.

In the Loop : 2009 In the loop is a very funny British political satire, roughly based on the lead up to current situation in Iraq. The story of a low level minister who has a way of saying the wrong thing, leads him into the loins den, as he is quoted as saying accidentally that a proposed war in the Middle East is "unforeseeable" is that "unforeseeable" or was "in-foreseeable". This is a very funny film it’s like an R rated version of the west wing, but using the English approach to comedy. • Peter Capaldi play Malcolm Tucker, who is the Prime ministers foul mouthed henchman , who insults everyone and is just a really funny character. Once again in a short two months I get to see another film with James Gandolfini who plays General Miller in this film and the mayor of New York in The Taking of Pelham 123, he been busy since the end of his run as Americas favorite mobster in the HBO series The Sopranos.

Actionmoviereviews : movie review: The Hurt Locker 2009 starts out with a crew of the U.S. army’s Explosive Ordnance Disposal  (EOD) in a cleared out street in Iraq using a robot to try to see into what looks like a pile of rubble , but is really a Road side bomb. The tension mounts as they prepare to defuse it and we get to see a side of war not ever seem by most military, yet alone the general public. This is a dangerous job defusing bombs while in unfriendly territory and not knowing who the enemy is or if the people who made the actual bomb are watching really to make it explode. Jeremy Renner who plays Staff Sergeant William James  trained with the actual Explosive Ordnance Disposal unit to add a sense of reality to the role.

Joe: The Rise of Cobra 2009 :  ...Nanotechnology yes,  little tiny robots that can eat anything in their path, good guys , bad guys , lots of cool vehicles and massive lairs for them to perfect their training. This sounds like a 70’s James bond film but that’s what this movie offers us, a world of absolutes and money was no object gadgets. I’ve seen shows of the discovery channel were all this stuff is just a year s off in the future.

The Boat That Rocked : retitled Pirate Radio for US release 2009 .This is the story of a Fictitious pirate radio station broadcasting rock and roll from a boat located of the Island of Britain in the year 1966. The story is told through the eyes of a young Carl (Tom Sturridge) who is sent to live with his godfather Quentin (Bill Nighy) the ship's captain after being expelled from school . Radio Rock is the name of the station and as the BBC is playing only 2 houbawdy Dave (Nick Frost)rs a day of rock and roll this station plays it 24 hours a day. Radio Rock is a smashing success and this leads to the government cracking down on them with new rules, as the oblivious crew of DJs sit offshore and rock the county out.

"The Ugly Truth" is a small cable dating TV show and after low ratings for the TV show Abby produces, the network hires Mike Chadway to be a host and raise he ratings. With his theories of how men and woman get along (that lets just say are kind of wild !) the show does well and views tune in. Mike's coaching of Abby with her new man Colin also go really well and she finds that maybe mike is right...

The Proposal starts as Andrew Paxton (Ryan Reynolds) is entering his office were he works as an editor’s assistant for Margaret Tate (Sandra Bullock) is the executive editor-in-chief of a book publishing company. She is his boss and when she is asked to leaves the country because of visa problems she Demands that Andrew marry her so she came stay in the country. With a deal to make him a full editor, publish his book and a warning from the INS, they head off to Alaska when Andrew is from to tell his family. The first thing I’d like to say is this movie is well cast, every actor in this film just seemed to me to right for the part. Next I think the big star in this film is the location of Alaska; there are some absolutely beautiful scenes in this movie, like giant postcards on film.
