28 Days Later 2002
28 Days Later 2002 :: movie review . 28 Days Later starts as three animal rights activists break into an experimental primate facility and un-cage a monkey exposed to a deadly virus (that is described as RAGE). When our hero Jim (Cillian Murphy) awakens from a coma in a deserted hospital (28 days later), he walks the empty streets of London until he is attacked by the infected and saved then befriended by to survivors who blow up a whole city block to escape. This movie is very intense for the first 20 minutes and absorbs you into it like a sponge, I and probably everyone who sees this film asks ones selves what they would do in this situation. There is money blowing down the streets and no one around, do you pick it up? Is it even worth anything anymore? Jim’s solution was to walks into a church after the he realizes what has happened to everyone, to pray I would guess.
The Unborn
The Unborn :: movie review 2009. The Unborn is a different take on the horror films of late, as the story unfolds there is an evil child that’s haunts Casey Beldon's (Odette Yustman) dreams and then comes to life (or un-life) as it might be. The story is starts with the mystery of what happened to Casey’s mother and why her eye is changing color and then unfolds into a modern fast passed horror/thriller with the story driving the action not vise versa. I don’t and won’t give too much away as to the plot, as I don’t like to read reviews were the whole thing is laded out, I’m assuming you might view this film and I won’t ruin it for you.
