Blindness: Julianne Moore : movie review Blindness: Julianne Moore : movie review . A city is ravaged by an epidemic of instant "white blindness". Those first afflicted are quarantined by the authorities in an abandoned mental hospital where the newly created "society of the blind" quickly turns into anarchy and chaos. There are some very intense scenes in this movie as Julianne Moore pretends to be blind to help here afflicted husband.
Drag Me to Hell Drag Me to Hell :: movie review. Drag Me to Hell is a horror film staring Alison Lohman and Justin Long (the “I’m a MAC “Guy) and Directed by Sam Raimi who directed the three Spiderman movies and currently working on Spiderman 4. This story stars with a young boy being Brought to a medium Shaun San Dena (Flor de Maria Chahua) to get help from a cruse that a gypsy has put on him and after he is dragged down by the evil , she swears she with meet this demon again and this time prevail.
28 Days Later 2002 28 Days Later 2002 :: movie review .  28 Days Later starts as three animal rights activists break into an experimental primate facility and un-cage a monkey exposed to a deadly virus (that is described as RAGE). When our hero Jim (Cillian Murphy) awakens from a coma in a deserted hospital (28 days later), he walks the empty streets of London until he is attacked by the infected and saved then befriended by to survivors who blow up a whole city block to escape. This movie is very intense for the first 20 minutes and absorbs you into it like a sponge, I and probably everyone who sees this film asks ones selves what they would do in this situation. There is money blowing down the streets and no one around, do you pick it up? Is it even worth anything anymore? Jim’s solution was to walks into a church after the he realizes what has happened to everyone, to pray I would guess.
The Unborn
The Unborn :: movie review 2009. The Unborn is a different take on the horror films of late, as the story unfolds there is an evil child that’s haunts Casey Beldon's (Odette Yustman) dreams and then comes to life (or un-life) as it might be. The story is starts with the mystery of what happened to Casey’s mother and why her eye is changing color and then unfolds into a modern fast passed horror/thriller with the story driving the action not vise versa. I don’t and won’t give too much away as to the plot, as I don’t like to read reviews were the whole thing is laded out, I’m assuming you might view this film and I won’t ruin it for you.

"Whats UP doc?" UP the 2009 Disney : movie review So, it’s gone full circle a generation that was raised on cartoons as Children has lived to see a cartoon made that deals with end of life issues and the meaning of life. With traces of The BUCKET LIST and REVOLUTIONARY ROAD as the plot the themes, the new film UP from Pixar Animation Studios has incorporated deep levels of human condition whether or not some of the young viewers ever understand it. I guess with a buzz about an Oscar already for a BEST ORIGINAL SCREENPLAY for writer Bob Peterson for this film, we enter into a new era of animation, a place where the writers of the original cartoons like Warner Bros. Cartoons Bugs Bunny could never ever imagined going. GO

Battle of the mall cops… Paul Blart: Mall Cop vs. Observe and Report : Movie reviews. So here my entry in the halls American literary excellence, my movie reviews of the Box office smack down brawl of two mall cop movies that are released back to back in the same year. Hey maybe I should write a screenplay about a chubby mall cop would wants to be a real cop and saves the hottest girl in the mall from the bad guys, on second thought it’s been done…twice. So the big question, which is funnier, which one of these movies was a better story, or should you see both films?  Read more

Bruno 2009 vs. Borat 2006 : movie reviews I can’t write about this year’s new release of Sasha Cohn’s Bruno with mentioning one of my Favorite comedies Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan. Both films are based on Characters from the Ali G. show which Sasha Cohn had on The Television Channel HBO. I really like Borat I laughed out loud more than a few times this film coined some Phrases that entered into the public conscience Like….”not”.  Full Article

The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters :: 2007 movie review  The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters is about the world record high score for the highly popular in the 80’s arcade game Donkey Kong and who really is the champ. The game as those of us who have played it gets progressively hard as you move up levels to the point of utter insanity. This is the story of Steve Wiebe and Billy Mitchell , Steve is trying to get this record that has been unbeaten for over 20 years. There is a bunch of other people associated with Twin Galaxies, an organization formed to keep track of high scores achieved on arcade games in the United States and they are interview, which adds to the story and its complexities. This documentary film has all the elements of a real movie, meaning a hero, villain, conflict and resolution which are rare in a documentary and kind of surprising...go

It has some very creepy music and a good cast, Gary Oldman as Rabbi Joseph Sendak is there to add an air of realism to the ensemble. I started watching this DVD alone at 11 o’clock and by 12, I was a little spooked and a little bit scared. The use of special effects and some well timed shots and the music make this a good film and the writer/director David S. Goyer , did his job good well. This isn’t a movie for the faint at heart it was spooky and did make me jump a few times. Ok that said, I wish the back story of Casey's family was a little farther up in the story line it would have drawn me in sooner and would have been (in my opinion) a big plus. "Kids are scary" is the theme in a lot of movies, evil kids that haunt the living and pop out of nowhere, well this movie is one of the best I’ve seen at this and really made it seem as if it hadn’t been done before a million times.

The overhead camera work and airplane shots were a nice touch , there is a lead to one scene where there are black trees with white snow, shot from an airplane that make interesting abstract patterns as the move by. The overall feel and the acting was all up to par and the locations and post production and special effects work well. This is a good not great film and I'm going to give it a “see it and or buy it”

No spoiler reviews

OK “We don’t do spoilers”; it’s my policy to be very vague about the story lines of the films I review here. I have always hated reading movie reviews that tell to much about a film. Entering a theater already having preconceived notions about the plot and / or the outcome of the film in the past have ruined the viewing experience for me,so this is why these reviews are written this way . I hope you enjoy our NO Spoiler Action Movie Reviews!
