Fast And Furious :: movie review :: Aka : Fast & Furious 4

Fast And Furious starts as Dom Toretto (Vin Diesel) reignites his feud with FBI agent  Brian O'Connor (Paul Walker), and we are back to the same place we left off before the “Fast And Furious: Tokyo Drift” fiasco. This movie was just what was supposed to be a story of a criminal and his Frienemy, that’s friend-enemy; meaning that they both like fast cars and FBI agent O’Connor was dating Dom’s sister in the other movies. There is not allot of a back story the Writers have predetermined that we have already watched the previous film and cant wait to get right into the story.

So the story picks up with Dom living out of the county still racing and when he finds out his has to return to Los Angeles he teams up with, You guessed it Agent O'Connor to take down a dangerous gang of drug smugglers. There are some of the best cars In the world featured in this movie and the Subaru Impreza WRX STi that O'Connor drives is by far my favorite, all wheel drive 300 horsepower from the factory not including mods...

Ok so I got that out of the way, this is a kind of Big Budget film that gets watched over and over on DVD, so I was surprised at the lack , of a  better story or at least a believable villain. At least the Tokyo Drift had a villain that was unlikable and a back story to back that up, in this film here is a bad guy and he is not that likable and little back story about him, I didn’t really understand the reasoning and ill leave it at that. Vin, (can I call you Vin?)dude do another Riddick Movie, as I’m still a huge Sci-fi fan this would make my day and frankly as in this series and the 3x movie you are the only actor that came pull them off. OK so this movie ends with an opening for another film and i hope the writers go back to the original plot premise and make add more chase scenes and more of Jordana Brewster...
