Actionmoviereviews : District 9 : movie review : This is such a good premise for a Sci-Fi film, an alien race lands on earth and is put into a type concentration camp. With no where to go with a broken spaceship, these aliens are left to themselves and seems to do all right and survive but cause problems for the locals. The story starts as a kind of videoatography of this man who was Appointed to run the MNU, the multinational force keeping to aliens in check. After being at the district 9 camp for all those years, all of the 1.8 million aliens are going to be moved to a new "District 10" camp located 240 km from Johannesburg, with help from all the private security forces working for MNU.

Multi-National United (MNU) is the company that is contracted to watch the alians and there leader is Wikus van der Merwe played by (Sharlto Copley). He discovers more about the aleins and there seceats as he makes friends with them ...Sticking with my NO SPOILER pollicy im going o leave the story telling to the film makers and leave it at that. This is a great movie, its science fiction a its best, the special effects are ...well out of this world. The story works very well it has no real wholes in the story it and is well written and has some substance to it. Ive always been a big fan of movies like this and Neill Blomkamp really nails it, with the help of producer Peter Jackson who made the "lord of the rings" movies.

the sound on this film was so well done , the whole feel is very realistic and the dialog in a South Africain accent is really cool and adds to what makes this such a good film. Its gets a bit werid but when the Aliens start talking the story really starts ti develp fast

just go see this film even if your not into sci-fi , I think you'll enjoy it.
