In the Loop : 2009 In the Loop : 2009 In the loop is a very funny British political satire, roughly based on the lead up to current situation in Iraq. The story of a low level minister who has a way of saying the wrong thing, leads him into the loins den, as he is quoted as saying accidentally that a proposed war in the Middle East is "unforeseeable" is that "unforeseeable" or was "in-foreseeable". This is a very funny film it’s like an R rated version of the west wing, but using the English approach to comedy. • Peter Capaldi play Malcolm Tucker, who is the Prime ministers foul mouthed henchman , who insults everyone and is just a really funny character. Once again in a short two months I get to see another film with James Gandolfini who plays General Miller in this film and the mayor of New York in The Taking of Pelham 123, he been busy since the end of his run as Americas favorite mobster in the HBO series The Sopranos.
The Hangover The Hangover is a 2009 comedy film directed by Todd Phillip The Hangover starts as Doug (Justin Bartha) is about to be married and scenes of all the things that go on with the run up to a wedding , so his two friends and his new soon to be brother in law have a bachelor party in Las Vegas. They get a suite in a hotel and sneak on to the roof to toast the night; they wake the next morning to set of clues to what the nights activities entailed. Oh no, Doug is missing and there is a tiger in the bathroom, a baby in the closet stue is missing a tooth, and Doug has left his cell phone behind.
MOON MOON  :: 2009 movie review Moon is a 2009 Science fiction movie Directed by Duncan Jones and starring Sam Rockwell, about a man all alone on a lunar mining station. We meet Sam Bell (Sam Rockwell) who is a man all alone on the moon, mining a new form of energy call helium-3 which was solved the world’s energy crisis. He is just a few weeks out from his replacement arriving when strange things start to happen in his space station. He starts to see weird hallucinations and glitches in his transmissions back home, and then has a freak accident. He has a robot to keep him company named Gerty (voiced by Kevin Spacey), he then learns what’s really going on by chance and has to take steps to rectify it.  Every time I hear Kevin Spacey’s voice I think of  Swimming with Sharks  and his character Buddy Ackerman but that’s just me, really if you think of that as the robot it’s really quite funny.
The Taking of Pelham 123 Movie review The Taking of Pelham 123
The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3 Is a New thriller starring Denzel Washington and John Travolta directed by Tony Scott shot in the subways of New York City. The story starts as a man who calls himself "Ryder," (John Travolta) leads a band of thugs as they highjack a subway train and MTA dispatcher Walter Garber (Denzel Washington) who is Reluctantly forced to be the Lead negotiator. This Film is a remake of a 1974 movie of the same name and reworked to meet a new audience. With modern dialog and cell phones, laptop computers and of course the fact that 911 effects the city still, this film was a really fast pace based roughly on the old plot.
The Proposal: movie review The Proposal : actionmoviereviews.com : movie review  year: 2009
The Proposal starts as Andrew Paxton (Ryan Reynolds) is entering his office were he works as an editor’s assistant for Margaret Tate (Sandra Bullock) is the executive editor-in-chief of a book publishing company. She is his boss and when she is asked to leaves the country because of visa problems she Demands that Andrew marry her so she came stay in the country. With a deal to make him a full editor, publish his book and a warning from the INS, they head off to Alaska when Andrew is from to tell his family. The first thing I’d like to say is this movie is well cast, every actor in this film just seemed to me to right for the part. Next I think the big star in this film is the location of Alaska; there are some absolutely beautiful scenes in this movie, like giant postcards on film.

"Whats UP doc?" UP the 2009 Disney : movie review So, it’s gone full circle a generation that was raised on cartoons as Children has lived to see a cartoon made that deals with end of life issues and the meaning of life. With traces of The BUCKET LIST and REVOLUTIONARY ROAD as the plot the themes, the new film UP from Pixar Animation Studios has incorporated deep levels of human condition whether or not some of the young viewers ever understand it. I guess with a buzz about an Oscar already for a BEST ORIGINAL SCREENPLAY for writer Bob Peterson for this film, we enter into a new era of animation, a place where the writers of the original cartoons like Warner Bros. Cartoons Bugs Bunny could never ever imagined going. GO

Battle of the mall cops… Paul Blart: Mall Cop vs. Observe and Report : Movie reviews. The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters :: 2007 movie review  The King of Kong: A Fistful of Quarters is about the world record high score for the highly popular in the 80’s arcade game Donkey Kong and who really is the champ. The game as those of us who have played it gets progressively hard as you move up levels to the point of utter insanity. This is the story of Steve Wiebe and Billy Mitchell , Steve is trying to get this record that has been unbeaten for over 20 years. There is a bunch of other people associated with Twin Galaxies, an organization formed to keep track of high scores achieved on arcade games in the United States and they are interview, which adds to the story and its complexities. This documentary film has all the elements of a real movie, meaning a hero, villain, conflict and resolution which are rare in a documentary and kind of surprising...go

They then got to get the car from the valet and he brings them a cop car, ok this is just the beginning of this wild comedy and there’s a whole lot more to come. This movie is very funny and is filled with some great one liners and a plot that is well written and pulls you into this wild story. What surprised me was the quality of the images the cinematography which for a comedy is very well done. I found this quote from one of the actors Ed Helms, which I really liked about this film and I couldn’t have summed up myself better "I think part of what’s special about this movie is that none of the comedy comes from the characters being clever, like you see in a lot of sitcoms or movies, where the characters actually have a funny sense of humor.”

The Hangover is a 2009 comedy film

This is what makes this film very special I would suppose, the characters situation and the resulting escapades are what really make this worth watching. I give this a thumbs up and if you want a good chuckle this movie has some great funny scenes, but this is no Wedding Crashers, this film is more more raw and for a more adult audience.

No spoiler reviews

OK “We don’t do spoilers”; it’s my policy to be very vague about the story lines of the films I review here. I have always hated reading movie reviews that tell to much about a film. Entering a theater already having preconceived notions about the plot and / or the outcome of the film in the past have ruined the viewing experience for me,so this is why these reviews are written this way . I hope you enjoy our NO Spoiler Action Movie Reviews!
